Wyrmblood taken by the dragon's slayer grants the gift of foresight, the greater the wyrm the more important the prophecy. But prophecy has as often brought ruin to those who heed it as it has averted disaster and the great drakes themselves take a dim view of any who undertake blood quests.

Upon the great continent of Allaran five great powers are settled in uneasy peace, more a stalemate than a conscious decision. Struggles are now clandestine and no less bitter for their smaller scale. The machinations of immortals and kings broil awaiting the great wars set out by prophecy with uneasy vigilance
